Who we are

Alan Rose Web LLC builds websites and provides search and advertising services for local businesses. We are based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. You can reach us at alan@tryalanrose.com or by mail at 7122 S Sheridan Rd, Ste 2 PMB 1013, Tulsa, OK 74133.

If you visit this website

These sites have no contact forms, no accounts, no analytics and no advertising trackers, and they set no cookies.

Our hosting provider receives the standard information any website receives when a page is requested: your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. It uses that information to deliver the page and to protect the service.

The example website designs load their typefaces from Google Fonts. When you open one, your browser requests the fonts from Google, which receives your IP address under Google’s privacy policy.

If we contacted your business

We contact local businesses about their websites by email and by phone. To do that, we keep business contact information from public sources: map and directory listings, state business registries, and the business’s own website. We keep:

• the business name, trade, city and state
• the business phone number, and an email address the business publishes
• public details such as the business’s website, review count and rating
• notes on when we contacted you and what you told us

Before we send an email, we check with an email verification service that the address can receive mail. Our emails are sent through an email-sending platform. We do not use open or click tracking in them.

We may build a preview page that shows what a website for your business could look like, based on the same public information. Preview pages are marked so search engines do not list them, and they never show your email address. If you ask, we take a preview page down.

To stop hearing from us, reply to any email asking us to stop, use the unsubscribe link in it, or tell us on a call. We keep a record of that request so that we do not contact you again.

If you are a client

We keep the information needed to provide the work and run the business: your contact details, our agreement, our correspondence, and the content you give us for your website. Payments are processed by our payment provider. We do not receive or store your full card number.

If you authorize us to access your Google accounts, such as Google Ads, Business Profile, Analytics, Search Console or Google Cloud, we use that access only to provide and report on the services you have asked us for. We keep a record of each change we make, so it can be reviewed and reversed. You can remove our access at any time from your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We do not sell that information, use it for advertising, or transfer it to anyone except as needed to provide the services you asked for, to comply with the law, or with your permission.

Who we share information with

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us operate: website hosting, email and document hosting, email sending, email verification, business listing data, and payment processing. Each one receives only what it needs to do its part. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep client records for as long as we work together and afterward as long as tax, accounting or legal obligations require. We keep outreach records so that we do not contact the same business twice and so that we can honor requests not to be contacted.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you or your business, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email alan@tryalanrose.com. If you ask us to delete your information, we keep only the minimum needed to make sure we do not contact you again.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law. We will respond to any request made under them.

Children

Our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update it here and change the date at the top.
